For travellers:
Travellers can use a credit card to guarantee the reservation. Depending on the property’s booking policy, the credit card may be charged or pre-authorised before the arrival. Payment policies are outlined during the reservation process and you can view them on your reservation page by clicking on ‘Bookings’, then ‘View Booking, and finally ‘View Policies’.
Properties are in charge of payments. You can use the filter ‘Online payment’ to find properties where you can pay when you book. Direct payments can be made with your PayPal account or the direct payment provider of your country – or you can have your credit card charged at the time of making the reservation.
If you don’t see the ‘online payment’ filter, the option may not be available in your country. If your company has integrated an Airplus account into the Booking.com for Business tool, you can use an Airplus virtual credit card to pay for the accommodation.
For travel managers:
You can integrate your Airplus account to easily prepay on behalf of travellers. For more information on AirPlus, visit this section of our FAQs.
