DBI Fields
In your AirPlus card setup, you can add descriptive billing fields which shall appear on your monthly bill from AirPlus. This helps enrich your AirPlus statement to enable better visibility and control over travel expenses by appropriately classifying travel bookings. There are four elements in the DBI fields setup:
Field Name and Field Code: These are the standard 8 classification fields that are set up in your AirPlus account. This section is non-editable and is setup by AirPlus.
Required: You can select the fields which are mandatory to be filled by bookers. The booker will not be able to proceed making the unless they populate this field. This section is non-editable and is setup by AirPlus.
Accepted Values: You can choose to leave this section empty and have bookers complete the necessary information when making a booking or add a list of options that bookers can choose from. E.g. for Department Code you can setup values such as Marketing, Human Resources, etc. These appear as a list of options for the booker to choose from, during the booking process.
Important: When you add a new AirPlus card, we automatically fetch your DBI field settings from AirPlus. In case you want to change ‘Field Name/Code’ and ‘Required’ fields for your DBI settings on the Booking.com for Business tool, please update this in your AirPlus account. These settings will be automatically updated on the Booking.com for Business tool.
Please note that Accepted Values are the same for all AirPlus cards across the company.
